In order to meet each specification every recruitment project requires the use of a variety of tools to ensure that your exact requirements are met. Every consultant has extensive training and exposure to the following tools

Also at Zest we have invested in industry leading candidate management software. This allows us to search and store the background and details of thousands of local food industry professionals.
Initial Short-List Produced for Discussion
We never forward high volumes of cv's, in fact quite the contrary. Once a search has been conducted we will send through a short-list of candidates that most closely match your needs and discuss the individuals with you.
Candidate Zest Interview
Wherever possible we interview all prospective candidates. This helps us really get to know the person behind the cv and we find it is a more robust way of assessing candidate suitability. Our interviews are thorough and detailed and are targeted to get to know precisely what individuals have achieved. We will also review their qualifications, membership of any professional bodies and any potential working visa requirements.
We work with the candidate to understand their career aspirations and specific requirements, and explore the specific role together to identify whether the opportunity is suitable.
Candidate Referencing
As part of our process we seek informal references for every candidate. We find this helps us understand more clearly how an individual operates in the working environment. Where requested we can also complete the formal referencing at the appropriate time.
Final Short-List
Only once we have completed all the above stages do we forward a final short-list. This will be the candidates that have a clear match with the role. You will receive the candidate cv and a cover note outlining referee comments and our consultants thorough assessment of the individuals strengths and development needs.
Arrange Client Interview
Once a decision to interview is made we will facilitate this process.
Facilitate Offer Process
Due to our rigorous approach this should be relatively smooth as expectations will have been clearly managed throughout. However, we can play an important role in managing this final phase to a successful outcome.
Post-Placement Review
As an organisation we strive to continuously improve. As such we appreciate feedback at any stage of the process, and will seek more detailed feedback after a placement has been successfully made.
